The Zombie Protocols

There are six zombie protocol stages.

stage 0 - No alert

No reason to believe a zombie outbreak is occurring or imminent. Stay alert. Watch for signs that may elevate zombie protocol.

Stage 1 - Low Alert
Reason to believe a zombie outbreak is occurring or imminent. Remain watchful, gather supplies, and get prepared.

Pay attention to the news. Procure food, water, defenses, and weapons.

Stage 2 - Alert
Zombies have been confirmed. Establish secure location, organize supplies, prepare response.

Follow the news. Board up windows, secure doors. Keep weapons at hand. Ration food supplies.

Stage 3 - Outbreak
Zombie outbreak has occurred. Ensure security, initiate response.

Strengthen the windows and doors. Prepare for long term zombie outbreak. Build up secure location to provide long term habitability. When safe location is insured, prepare reconnaissance missions to gather information and supplies if possible.

Stage 4 - Attack
Zombies are attacking. Double security efforts. Keep guard.

Keep round the clock watches. Strengthen defenses wherever possible. Keep armed defense team at the ready. Fight back wherever possible. However only deplete resources when absolutely necessary.

Stage 5 - Overrun.
Zombies have breached security. Fall back to secure location or flee.

Fall back to a bunker, or secure vehicles for flight. Expend whatever resources necessary to escape the zombies.
